Lucknow has become the natural base for a whole circuit of travel that barely existed a decade ago. Ayodhya is two and a half hours away and now draws groups from across the country. Prayagraj, Varanasi, Naimisharanya and Chitrakoot are all comfortable runs. Add to that a wedding culture that moves guests between three venues in two days, and a great deal of travel here happens twelve or sixteen people at a time.

We run 9, 12, 13, 16 and 17 seater Force Urbania vans in Lucknow with a professional driver, from Rs 35 per km. Pickup from any address in the city - Gomti Nagar, Hazratganj, Aliganj, Indira Nagar, the airport or Charbagh station.

Why Book an Urbania in Lucknow

Most group travel from Lucknow is either a pilgrimage run of three to eight hours or a multi-venue wedding day. Both are cases where splitting the group across cars costs more than it saves once you count four drivers, four fuel bills and the hour lost regrouping at the other end.

  • The group stays together. On a temple trip that matters practically - darshan timings do not wait for the car that took a wrong turn.
  • Push-back seats and AC vents per row. The Lucknow to Prayagraj or Varanasi runs are long enough that seat quality stops being cosmetic.
  • A proper boot. Wedding outfits, gifts and pilgrimage luggage all go behind the last row rather than on laps.
  • Easy boarding for elders. High roof, wide door, a real step - the single most common piece of feedback we get on pilgrimage bookings.
  • One transparent bill. Per-km from your pickup point, with every extra listed before you confirm.

The full rate card compares every variant if you are still choosing a size.

Urbania Rental Rates in Lucknow

The rate card below is our published starting point; the exact per-km rate for a Lucknow booking depends on the route and is confirmed when we quote. Choose the per kilometre plan for outstation runs where the distance is known, or a fixed day package for local use where the vehicle waits between stops.

Per kilometre rates

Vehicle Type Rate Per km Driver Charges per day
9 Seater Luxury Urbania 35/- 700/-
12 Seater Luxury Urbania 35/- 700/-
13 Seater Luxury Urbania 35/- 700/-
16 Seater Urbania 38/- 700/-
17 Seater Urbania 40/- 800/-
9 Seater Premium Maharaja Urbania 50/- 800/-
12 Seater Maharaja Urbania 50/- 800/-

The per-km rate covers the vehicle, fuel and driver service. Driver allowance, tolls, state entry taxes and parking are billed at actuals - the inclusions section below lists each of them.

Full day and outstation packages

Vehicle Type Per Day Rate (80 KM/8 Hours) Per Day Rate (250 KM/16 Hours)
9 Seater Luxury Urbania 7,500/- 15,000/-
12 Seater Luxury Urbania 7,500/- 15,000/-
13 Seater Luxury Urbania 8,000/- 16,000/-
16 Seater Urbania 8,500/- 17,000/-
17 Seater Urbania 9,000/- 18,000/-
9 Seater Premium Maharaja Urbania 11,000/- 23,000/-
12 Seater Maharaja Urbania 11,000/- 23,000/-

The 80 km / 8 hour package covers a day inside Lucknow. The 250 km / 16 hour package covers a same-day return to Ayodhya or Naimisharanya. Multi-day trips are quoted per km with a 250 km per day minimum.

Which Urbania Suits Your Group

Seat counts exclude the driver. For pilgrimage trips take one size up - the luggage is always more than expected.

9 and 12 seater Luxury Urbania

Both Rs 35 per km. The 9 seater for a single family; the 12 seater for a joint family, and the most common booking in Lucknow.

13, 16 and 17 seater Urbania

The 13 seater holds the Rs 35 rate. The 16 seater at Rs 38 and 17 seater at Rs 40 are what temple groups and wedding parties book, at the lowest cost per head in the fleet.

Premium Maharaja Urbania

The 9 seater Maharaja at Rs 50 per km - wider seats, deeper recline. Worth it when elders are doing a six-hour run to Varanasi or Chitrakoot.

Pickup Points Across Lucknow

Pickup anywhere in Lucknow is included in the fare. Most bookings start from:

  • Gomti Nagar and Vibhuti Khand - corporate offices, hotels and large residential societies.
  • Hazratganj and the city centre - hotel pickups for wedding and event groups.
  • Indira Nagar, Aliganj and Mahanagar - family group pickups for pilgrimage trips.
  • Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport - group arrivals, with flight tracking so the van is there when you land.
  • Charbagh railway station - the most common start point for out-of-town groups heading to Ayodhya.

Station and airport pickups are worth booking in advance rather than arranged on arrival - a group of fourteen with luggage is not something to solve at a taxi stand.

Pilgrimage and Tour Routes from Lucknow

Lucknow sits at the centre of the Uttar Pradesh temple circuit, which is why so much of our work here is multi-day.

Route from Lucknow Approx. distance (one way) Typical trip
Lucknow to Ayodhya ~135 km Same-day return, very common
Lucknow to Naimisharanya ~90 km Same-day temple visit
Lucknow to Prayagraj ~200 km Same-day or overnight
Lucknow to Varanasi ~320 km 2 to 3 days
Lucknow to Chitrakoot ~250 km 2 days
Lucknow to Agra ~340 km 2 to 3 days
Lucknow to Delhi ~550 km Overnight, or a long single day

The Ayodhya, Prayagraj and Varanasi triangle is the most requested combination, usually as a four to five day trip with the same van and driver throughout. See our Ayodhya, Prayagraj and Varanasi pages for what each city involves.

Lucknow City Sightseeing by Urbania

Not every booking leaves the city. Lucknow's own sites are spread across the old city and the newer districts, and they are a poor fit for hailing transport at each stop - the old city in particular is congested enough that a vehicle waiting for you is worth a great deal more than one you have to find again.

  • Bara Imambara and the Bhool Bhulaiya - the labyrinth needs a guide and takes longer than groups expect. Allow two hours.
  • Rumi Darwaza - a two-minute stop immediately beside the Imambara, and the photograph everyone wants.
  • Chota Imambara - a short drive on, quieter, and at its best in the late afternoon.
  • The British Residency - ruins and gardens, and the easiest walking of the day.
  • Ambedkar Memorial Park - vast, open and best seen in the early evening.
  • Hazratganj - for shopping and dinner at the end of the day, with the van collecting from a fixed point.

The whole circuit fits into the 80 km / 8 hour package at Rs 7,500 for a 9 or 12 seater. The old city lanes are narrow, so the driver will drop and collect at the main gates rather than parking alongside - which is exactly why a waiting vehicle beats a series of separate fares.

Urbania for Lucknow Weddings

Lucknow weddings run across two or three days and multiple venues, with guests arriving by train and plane throughout. That is a logistics problem more than a transport one, and it is where having your own vehicle and driver on standby genuinely changes the day.

We book wedding vehicles per day with the driver available for the full function - station and airport collections in the morning, hotel-to-venue runs in the evening, and the late return afterwards. Guests arrive together and properly dressed rather than crushed into a shared cab.

For peak season - November, December and February - book at least two weeks ahead. The 16 and 17 seater vans go first.

Corporate and Event Travel

Lucknow's government offices, universities and growing corporate presence generate a steady stream of delegation and conference travel.

  • GST invoicing against your organisation's details, issued before the trip.
  • Multi-vehicle bookings for larger delegations, travelling in convoy so everyone arrives together.
  • Fixed-price quotes for approved budgets rather than open-ended per-km billing.
  • Timed multi-stop itineraries with the driver briefed in advance.
