What actually decides whether a group is comfortable for nine hours is the seat, the aisle, the roof height and the boot - so those are what this page shows, with a note under each image about what it means for your trip.

These are the Force Urbania vans we rent, in 9, 12, 13, 16 and 17 seater variants and the Premium Maharaja version. If you want to see a specific variant before booking, call us and we will send photographs of the actual vehicle allocated to your dates.

Interior and Seating Images

The cabin is where the Urbania differs most from a standard tempo traveller. Look at the seat backs and the aisle width in these rather than at the paintwork.

Luggage and Boot Space

This is the image most people skip and most people should look at. A separate boot is the practical difference between luggage in the aisle and luggage out of the way.

As a rough guide: a 12 seater carrying ten passengers takes one suitcase and one cabin bag each comfortably. If the group is at full seat capacity with heavy luggage, book one size up - the advice is on the seating options page.

What to Look For Before You Book

If you are comparing vehicles from photographs - ours or anyone else's - these are the four things worth actually checking, and the three that are usually just staging.

Worth checking

  • Seat back angle. Does the seat recline meaningfully, or is the photograph taken from an angle that suggests it does?
  • Aisle width and roof height. Look for a person standing in the aisle. If every interior shot is taken from the door, ask why.
  • A separate boot. If the gallery has no luggage photograph at all, the vehicle probably stores bags in the aisle.
  • AC vents per row. Individual overhead vents, or one duct at the front.

Usually just staging

  • Night shots with the interior lighting on.
  • Flowers, cushions and bottled water arranged on the seats.
  • Wide-angle lenses that make the cabin look twice its real length.
